About the Project
The UBMA Islamic Blind School Project is a charitable initiative focused on supporting visually impaired students with access to education in a safe and structured environment.
Many of these students face significant challenges due to limited resources and facilities. This project aims to create a dedicated space where they can learn, grow, and live with dignity.
Through the support of donors, we are working step by step to build essential infrastructure for the school.
Why This Project Matters
Visually impaired students often face barriers to education due to a lack of proper facilities, learning materials, and support systems.
Without safe and accessible environments, their ability to learn and thrive becomes limited.
This project is focused on removing those barriers by building a school that is designed to meet their needs and support their future.
Project Updates
Phase 1: Perimeter Fence — Completed
The first stage of the project focused on securing the land by constructing a perimeter fence. This ensures safety and prepares the foundation for further development.

The land for the Islamic Blind School was cleaned and prepared.
This land is situated off Prince Alfred Road. ma - KoKo Village Koya Rural District.
As part of preparing for construction, a local architectural technician in Sierra Leone prepared initial site plans and building layouts for the future UBMA Blind School.
These drawings show the proposed school layout, mosque, classrooms, canteen, and roof structures. They help us plan the land usage and construction phases.
These architectural drawings are preliminary planning documents and may evolve as the project progresses.
Payment for Architectural Plans
UBMA paid a local technician to prepare the architectural drawings and site layout for the project.
